What can I do at TAF - The Art Foundation?

TAF - The Art Foundation is a cultural center that sees itself as a cultural platform and meeting place. The spectrum ranges from art, culture and photography to graphic design and documentation to music, theater and film.

The cultural center is housed in the heart of Athens in a former Ottoman apartment from the 19th century. You can tour the gallery as well as the exhibition rooms. The gallery with an area of 100 square meters is located on the 1st floor and is used for various projects such as experimental exhibitions, educational programs, presentations, workshops, seminars, performances, discussions or even film screenings.

You can find an up-to-date overview and preview of all upcoming meetings and events here.

The rooms around the inner courtyard, on the other hand, transport you to another era. They were once used as workshops by local artisans from the Monastiraki district and still reflect the building's history. Since all six rooms can be booked for art exhibitions and organizations, you can often find various exhibitions here as well.
